By partnering with the Owner and Design Team before construction begins, Data Cell is able to
clearly identify the goals of every party and successfully address how these goals will be reached.
General Contracting Services
Traditional Delivery System
Data Cell has provided General Contracting (GC) services for close to 20 years throughout the
United States. As the GC on a project, Data Cell assumes direct responsibility for all construction
phase activities. Contracts are secured through competitive bidding, or through a qualifications-based
selection process, often including a guaranteed maximum price (GMP)
Design/Build Services
Single-Source Design and Construction Services
As the General Contractor, Data Cell subcontracts architectural and engineering services
and remains the dominant contracting entity in the Design/Build process. Partnering with a
selectively chosen Architect, or other duly licensed team members, the two are contracted as
a single-source team to complete both design and construction services to meet the
Owners specific needs.
